Enduring on Lockdown
Life as we experienced it has drastically altered. The world past our doors is a blur of its former bustle. We are now trapped within the limits of our homes, forced to conform to a new normal. The days blend, marked by the cycle of online meetings, consuming media, and baking. We yearn for the simple activities that were once granted for granted: a hike in the park, a meal with friends, or even just a conversation without a screen between us.
This new situation has created challenges, but it has also exposed unexpected strengths within ourselves and our communities. We have learned to be more compassionate, more inventive, and more appreciative for the mundane things in life. As we navigate this new territory, we must remain hopeful that brighter days are ahead.
Six Feet From Freedom
Life behind bars is a harsh reality. Every day, you face limitations that feel like an unbreakable wall. The world outside seems so near, yet it's separated by just a mere six feet.
Sometimes, the pressure of those bars feels suffocating. You long freedom with every fiber of your being. Every sunrise serves as a stark reality that you're confined.
But even in the darkest moments, there's a flicker of hope. A hope that one day, you'll step over those bars and finally be released. That day might seem distant, but it's a dream worth holding onto.
Confined Liberation
The allure with freedom can be a tempting force. Yet, paradoxically, it can even lead to confinement. This happens when the very notion for freedom becomes perverted, transforming into a mechanism for control and suppression.
Genuine freedom demands not only the absence with external constraints but also the cultivation of internal strength. When this inner foundation is lacking, even amidst a society that values freedom, individuals can find themselves trapped within the boundaries of their own beliefs.
Finally, the true measure with freedom lies in our ability to break free the barriers that limit our potential, both externally and internally.
